Malcolm X


Considered one of the greatest civil rights leader Malcolm Little also known as El Hajj Malik El Shabazz. Malcolm was born in May 19, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was an African American minister, civil rights leader and human rights activist. His father Earl Little was a bapist speaker, who greatly supported Marcus Garvey, which made him a local leader. Earl had three younger brothers which were all kill by the hands of white men, one of his brother where lynched. Malcolm was the forth born out of 7 born children in Earl's second marriage with Louise Little. After the death of his father Earl Little his mother Louise Little was admitted to a mental hostpial.

Malcolm went threw a number of foster home over the years due to the tradey with both of his parent. Malcolm became a part of crime over the years and this usually known to happen due to forster kids and kids with no parental surpport during the youth of the child's life. Between 1943 and 1946 Malcolm X was aressted in 1945 a sentenced eight to ten years in a Massachusetts. Over the years to come he became in to the lif of drugs dealing, gambling, robbery and pimping.

During his prision years Malcolm X became a member of the Nation of Islam and became a Muslim. In 1952 after his parole he became a speaker of the Nation and was a leader. For almost twelve years Malcolm was a spokesmen and the public face of the Nation of Islam but after some tension with Elijah Muhammad he was forced to leave the organization.

Malcolm married Betty X and the couple had six daughters. His life coming together meeting world leaders, preaching human rights, and fighting for what he believe in. Over the years to come many death threats were made. Malcolm was always prepared to defend himself.

On February 21, 1965 in New York City Malcolm began to speak at a banquet at Audubon Ballroom. During his speech a disturbance broke out. Of course Malcolm wanted to know what the problem and wanted to try to break up the argument, but if known it was a plan to kill him. The man armed with a sawed off shotgun shot Malcolm X in the chest and another group of men with hand guns shot him 16 times. He was pronounced dead shorty arriving at the hospital. At the funeral of Malcolm X an estimated 30,000 people where there to morn his death.
